Meet the Team

Mellon Design Studio is led by Pamela Tamaddon. Pamela holds a BFA in Interior Design, is certified in Auto CAD and Chief Architect Interiors, and is an award-winning 3D Visual Artist. Her extensive design portfolio includes customized Computer Generated Images for professionals in the Design/Build Industry.

Pamela is honored to be a founding member of the New York State Board of Interior Design. As a long standing Adjunct Faculty member at The New York Institute of Technology,  Pamela continues to enjoy sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience with future Interior Design Professionals. She will also be teaching at the Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design beginning Spring 2020. 

A resident of Long Island’s North Shore, Pamela is a lifelong equestrian and dog lover. She is an advocate for and a volunteer with a local Therapeutic Riding Program.

What will this cost?

The biggest cost factor in generating your views is the time it takes to build the model of the project.  Your project submissions must include all information of case goods, materials, finishes and specified lighting applications used in the space along with dimensions and measurements.

Project packages start at $399.00 with additional fees based on the complexity of the project and the format in which the project space is submitted.

What is provided in your service package ?

Each Package includes 3 Interior Views - in the format you select to best represent your project.  It also includes 2 Revisions of Interior Finishes and or case goods. 

How Can We Get Started on Your Project

Here’s an overview of how we will work together.  It all starts with a consultation call. 

Consultation Call We’ll connect by phone to talk about your needs and my process. If we agree to work together a quote is sent outlining the details. We create one package with three interior views of your project in the selected format.

Schedule Your Project After I receive a 50 percent deposit on the agreed cost we will schedule the building of your 3D model. Turnaround time is dependent on the format in which your project is submitted along with the scope and complexity of the design.

Submit your Plans • 2 Options

  • Architectural Plans—Submit your plans either in PDF format or as a DWG file. These files are uploaded into Chief Architect where the building of your 3D model begins. These formats provide exact dimensions of the interior space and save time in building your model and executing your views.
  • Hand Drawn Plans – Submit along with accurate dimensions and measurements of architectural features, including all openings, ceiling height, doors, windows etc. In addition, photos of the existing space are helpful in determining architectural details. The more information you provide, the quicker it will be to build your 3D Model. 

Package Submitted for your Review Two rounds of revisions are included in your package. A draft will be emailed to you and we’ll schedule a phone call to get your questions answered and outline any changes.

Project Complete - Turnaround time is typically 5 Business Days

*Both format submissions require a full material list of fabrics, finishes, case goods, cabinetry and interior lighting being specified for your design. Our design program has an extensive library of products available and more and more manufactures are providing CAD models that can be imported into the plan.
